Eyebrow Microblading

Upon arriving at your appointment, you and your aesthetician will sit down together and go over what you want in terms of brow shape, colour, and thickness. Your aesthetician will then map out your brows using the golden ratio of your facial features. This is to ensure precision brows that fit your natural facial features. 


Next, using a microblade, your aesthetician will embed the pigmented ink into your brows using hair-like strokes to mimic the natural flow of your brows. This will give you the final result that you’ve always dreamed of!

Eyebrow Tinting


Eyebrow tinting is a beauty treatment that involves applying a dye to your eyebrows to provide a more defined and enhanced result. Eyebrow tinting is perfect for clients who have naturally thick eyebrows that are lighter in colour. This semi-permanent treatment lasts anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks before your next appointment!


During your treatment, your aesthetician will colour match the pigment of the dye to the natural colour of your hair for a flawless finish. They will then clean your brows to remove any oil and build up and apply petroleum jelly around the perimeter of your natural eyebrow shape to avoid any staining of the skin. The dye is then applied to the eyebrows and left on for 5 minutes before removing it with a damp paper towel.

Eyebrow Shaping

After that, using warm wax, your aesthetician will apply the wax to the areas around the perimeter of the eyebrow and in the direction of the natural hair growth. A cloth strip is then placed firmly on top of the wax until it has cooled. It is then pulled in the opposite direction of the hair growth to give you the stunning brows you have been dreaming of!

Before Service

To ensure you’re fully prepared for your microblading appointment, we ask that our clients please read through the following pre-appointment instructions for the best results!

 

On the day of your appointment, please show up to your appointment wearing comfortable clothing as your treatment may last anywhere from 2 to 3 hours, depending on your desired results. You should also be wearing no makeup and any lotions or serums on your face as these can react with the pigment and diminish the treatment results. 

 

You are also required to refrain from the following before the microblading appointment:

 

  • Botox treatments around the eyes and forehead area 4 weeks prior
  • Chemical peel facials 60 days before your treatment
  • Waxing or tinting of the eyebrow area 3 days before your treatment
  • Alcohol or Aspirin 24 hours before your treatment


Aftercare Instructions

Having the proper aftercare routine after your microblading appointment is key to ensuring your brows don’t fade until you are due for a touchup in the future.


After your procedure, let the area heal naturally for the first 6 hours. After 6 hours, wash with a gentle cleanser and water. Apply microgel 2 to 3 times daily for 7 to 14 days post-procedure. Your skin may feel slightly sticky as a result of this hydrating formula, but rest assured that it is 100 percent natural, cruelty free, and good for all skin types.


Moreover, it is advised to follow these additional steps to ensure the best result:


  • Always wash your hands before touching the treated area. 
  • Avoid touching the treated area. Do not pick healing brows as that can cause scarring.
  • Do not use makeup on the tattooed area until completely healed or for at least the first week.
  • Do not swim and use sauna, steam room, or hot tub for at least two weeks.
  • Do not exercise for the first 24 hours after your procedure. Avoid excessive sweating during exercise for a week.
